Both kept their jobs and were told they could retest on 6 months. If they practice not pass at that time they will be terminated. In fact i was really converted to PTF. The longer reply is that if you are in an area where they have chronic issues with employee turnover, retention and difficulty in hiring, they may look the other way and keep yous around to endeavor again in six months. | ||

No. Y'all only need to pass to be a window clerk pse. We have intermission downward pses. But how the heck do you neglect that test? Pretty certain mine merely took 10 minutes.... it was mode too easy. | ||

And yeah, in some places yous may be able to go to a different position that isn't at the window. Simply in many places where PSE SSDAs are used, in that location is no other work. This is often truthful in four-hour RMPOs, for instance. In that location is only ONE PSE who does it all, including working the window, so they accept to pass the 421. At some point. For what information technology's worth, in my class of xi students, simply half dozen passed. Four of u.s. had previous PMR experience at RMPOs, and all iv of united states passed. | ||

They just cannot exist assigned a drawer in POS or RSS. What is weird is I was a PMR then became a PSE back last Dec. They never made me get to window training. I have asked multiple times and was told I was set window qualified. In that location is no darn consistently. | ||

Sounds like at that place are exceptions to that but beingness window trained gets me more hours and have picked up actress hours at other offices working the window selling those "pretty stamps" | ||

I recall none of this was an official process. Hour is aware offices are doing this when people neglect because thr postmaster said tjey told him others are dping it. The APO does all kinds of shady stuff. I was an RMPO PSE yet I went 4 months and never worked in it and instead worked 60+ hours a week at the APO. The APO PSE is the one that failed the test and they sent him to the RMPO I was assigned to piece of work. | ||
